You know how hard it is to find pictures of Obama angry? If you google "obama anger" you get the "anger translator" stuff. "Obama angry," "Obama mad," you get a few but also cartoons, or Michelle Obama looking angry! Although Barack Obama looks angry in the snapshots I have posted, I don't know that he is. The one on the above, he sure looks angry, but he could be saying, "The next president of the United States, Hillary Clinton!"

Our faces are sooo flexible that we can be angry and our faces not show it; or not angry and our faces are contorted in that one *snap*shot that makes it appear we are.

Look at the image in the video below of the "Fate of the Republic" speech. Obama looks angry but you can see on the faces in the crowd that he wasn't. That video to me is disturbing. For whomever wrote those lines, this was deadly serious stuff. And it was!  Whoever wrote those lines intended them to be delivered with the utmost gravity and seriousness. Even alarming. Frightening. Whoever wrote those lines did not intend them to be delivered with tongue-in-cheek and a chuckle. But that is what Obama did! He delivered those lines with a melodramatic humor! When he said, "The fate of the world is teetering," he chuckled! Watch.

Obama could not pull it off. He couldn't do the anger thing. That got me thinking: He wasn't angry, was he? When are you sure Barack Obama was angry? Give me an instance.

Okay, that's one. Give me another one ho-ho-ho. Yes, Obama was pissed there. His slit eyes show he is seething. But: Obama also knew that moment was going to be caught on camera. He was angry. But Obama is also putting on his angry face there for the cameras.

Of course, Obama has anger in him, every human being does, but maybe he just worked super hard to never show it. Maybe he was so concerned with not coming across as an angry black man who would scare off white America that he just swallowed it.

All to say: this was more of a late afternoon day dream than I originally thought. Obama, angry, leading an insurrection? Ho-ho-ho.
