AOC Update

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is, for many, including the undersigned, a towering figure in American politics who reached her height with courage is the most inspirational elected official since Robert F. Kennedy. She has referenced the Russian war on Ukraine in her Twitter account once since the invasion began, and that was a re-tweet of another's tweet against a no-fly zone on March 16. AOC is all things her district I understand. She is also part of the government of the United States of America which is heavily committed by treaty in European affairs. And she is Evita. But Evita is diminished now. Always petite she has shrunk even to a political pygmy. Deliberately ignoring the first major land war in Europe since World War II is deliberately ignoring the world. Reading her twitter account you'd think it was scrubbed by censors. You would have no idea that there was a war that some young men in her district are liable to fight in if it spirals out of control. She does not care and that I thought I would never conclude.
