Sometimes you wake up and the mood just hits you. 

You look out the window, and think, “what a beautiful morning. What a beautiful day.” Depending on where you are on the planet and the time of year, the sources of beauty can be quite varied — a quiet backyard or a sweeping urban landscape, the way the sun hits the clouds or the sound of a bird chirping, fresh snow on the ground or the promise of a warm summer day. 

The simple truth about our remarkable Earth is that despite its many problems, it still provides incredible beauty in infinite forms — a beauty that beckons us to leave the creature comforts of our homes and walk amongst its bounty. It’s all the more reason we must do everything in our power to protect, cherish, and heal it. 

In this spirit, we have a couple of selections for you this morning that we hope will bring you a reason to smile no matter what it looks like outside your window.
