Last night Erik Spoelstra deployed the 27th different starting lineup of the season, interchanging Caleb Martin for Haywood Highsmith. Spo also altered his rotation, having Jimmy Butler on the floor with the second unit to start the 4th quarter without Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro. When the "Big 3" play together the results are middling as Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald first pointed out to an alarmed "Heat" World. The players liked the new 27th look, liked the mixing of pieces throughout the game and why not after a 26-point win over a team that had a better record than we did going in? 

I don't know what Nikola Jovic's ten-game start was about, nor what HH's seven-game start was. Spoelstra's vehicle is unchanged from last season yet every season he seems to have a tic that requires him to take it all apart and put it back together again. Be that as it may, the starters are likely to be the same tonight as last night, HH is taking a "personal day".
