We have elected gads of white men; we elected a Black man in 2008, and reelected him in 2012; we passed on electing a white woman in favor of a white man in 2016; we chose another white man to defeat him in 2020; now in 2024 we're running a Black, south Asian woman against the white man who defeated the white woman in 2016 and she's counting on women and people of color to elect her. Seems risky.
