Egypt 3.0

I just read an article that said in today's protests there were a sea of Egyptian flags. Curious, I did a Bing search for images "Egypt protests 2013." Broad search term. The images below were randomly selected (except for the one of the military fly over), I have no idea if the people were pro-Morsi or anti-Morsi but I do assume both. I and others have criticized the protesters for being against but not for. They're for Egypt. They are very passionately for Egypt. This helped me understand better the two and one-half years of protests. Lincoln wrote during the American Civil War that both sides claimed to act with God's support, that both could not be right and both might be wrong. In Egypt it seems protesters of all stripes carry the red, white and black stripes of the Egyptian flag. They cannot all be right...Well, yes they can, can't they? If they keep their eyes on the prize of that flag and take their opponents to be equally sincerely for Egypt, then they share the same goal and wouldn't that make it easier to compromise? Compromise for the prize.
