This really gets under my skin, more so than it would a normal person. I have a problem with authority. When power is exercised wrongly, as with NSA, I will oppose it. When I don't understand the reason for the rules promulgated by authority, as with Google and post titles, I will oppose them. When I'm confronted every day with a rule I don't understand, I will oppose the rule and get aggravated every day. There are a lot of bloggers; I bet some chafe under this rule but probably I'm in the minority. A lot, a lot of Americans do not think NSA did anything wrong in the domestic surveillance and the bugging of foreign embassies was met with a collective "Ho-hum" by Americans. This will make you laugh at me: last Sunday's revelation made me feel worse than any other public occurrence in my life. It really did. Not many other Americans felt that way. This post could be titled "Seeking the Soul of Benjamin Harris," but it isn't because I have a problem with authority.
