-6:59 pm. The death toll is still preliminary. This is going to be like the Sumatra earthquake on a smaller scale, the death toll is just going to rise and rise before it levels off. Poor, poor people.

There is some lowering of the death toll. 1457 was from ABC, it's still there, http://abcnews.go.com/International/hundreds-dead-massive-earthquake-strikes-nepal/story?,id=30577374, 1394 is from Fox, "nearly 1400" is Associated Press and "over 1300" is the New York Times, so there has been some lowering, it has leveled off, perhaps temporarily, at about 1400.
