Uniforms of the English Premier League.

The pink-and-purple did not get it done today at Spurs. Lost 1-0. So we'll lead off with them. Sunderland's home "kit:"

That's what it's been as long as I've followed soccer. Red-and-white vertical stripes. For a club nicknamed the "Black Cats."

This is their official away kit.

And their third kit, which today they wore for some reason:

You're telling ME to "Shhh!" when you're dressed like that?

Their opponents today, Tottenham Hotspur. Home:

Home is white. That navy with gold accents is good. The gold/yellow with navy accents is the color of snot.

Watford:

Away on the left, home at right. "We all cheer for the yellow soccer team except when they're on the road and then they white soccer team."

Manchester United:

So they've gone to blue with their away kit and City have incorporated the red rose of Lancashire in their official badge. Stupid.

Home:

Away. It looks like Aston Villa's. It's not a bad look, it is not City's look but the claret and slate isn't bad looking until you add the snot yellow from Spurs and then it becomes hideous. And the pink shoes.

I think I know what City's third kit is and I don't want to look.

Can you believe that? Custom car paint job as envisioned by someone high on LSD.

Everton home kit:

Their traditional medium blue. Nice.

Pink on navy. Guess pink is in this year, huh? We need a new year.

Everton third kit:

We notice then NO FUCKING RHYME OR REASON TO THE COLORS. It's like the clubs pick them out of the crayon box of a psych patient.

Arsenal's three:

The two-tone with the sleeves is big this year, too. They now look like the Cincinnati "Reds." More yellow!

Chelsea, home:

Classic blue, it has never changed.

Away:

A la Fred MacMurray "My Three Sons" sweater. At least it's not offensive. The yellow piping is barely noticeable.

Third:

The PSU away look. That would qualify as boring except our standards have been so lowered. Chelsea's are so far the best, the least-bad.

Liverpool:

BIG year for snot. HUGE.

Arright, enough for now.
