Chip Lake, a Georgia-based GOP operative who did not vote for Trump in the general election, raised the prospect of the president leaving office before his term is up.

"It's impossible to see a scenario under which this is sustainable under a four-year period," Lake said.

Okay, I can go with that. Put that way...That is the most reasonable frigging statement I've heard in a while...It is not sustainable, Mr Lake is right, it is "impossible" to have a nervous breakdown for four years continuously. And you know what? Trump has not had anything happen yet that is nervous breakdownable. All the shit that has happened has been self-shit: the shocking turnover in staff; the shocking volume of leaks; the legislative fiascos. The Republicans have not passed a single goddamn significant piece of legislation, do you realize that? They've got control of the entire goddamned government and they can't do shit; the Nazi thing; most of all the Russia thing. And it's all Trump. Trump's first 100 days? Did enough to get himself indicted for treason as a Russian agent.

He is incompetent and his instincts are backasswards. The inner Trump, the real Trump, is an amoral fascist.

Trump has been in his stolen office what, 7 months? 8 months? Bush43 had 9/11 after 9 months. The only thing approaching a foreign crisis that Trump has had is the DPRK and that turd floats to the surface every now and again to bedevil every goddamned president since Clinton.

What if there is a terrorist strike in the U.S., not even 9/11 scale, but Je Suis Charlie? San Bernardino?

What if something like Sandy Hook happens?

What if something happens in Syria? With Israel? Iran? Saudi Arabia?

What if Russia destabilizes the Baltics?

What if the "simmering cauldron" of China boils over?

And you know they will! Some of that shit is going to happen.

No clue. Trump has no clue how to handle any one of those. He's never thought about any of them. It'll be all seat-of-his-shitty-pants "instincts" and God help us all there.
