Twitter seems about equally divided on whether Leroy's goal was brilliant or a result of poor goalkeeping by Karius, who Jurgen Klopp substituted for Simon Malignant. I just watched the goal on replay, Leroy beat him on the short side, which shouldn't happen, but with a brilliantly placed ball into the upper right corner. No: Karius was in position to make the save, did not misjudge it or anything, stretched as high as he could to get it but it was placed just beyond his reach, there is nothing more he or any goalkeeper could do.
