Amigo, de que?

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who last year said Trump would pay "holy hell" if he fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and this year said that firing Special Counsel Robert Mueller would be "corrupt" "probably" an impeachable offense, did an about face today:

“The president’s entitled to an attorney general he has faith in,...and I think there will come a time, sooner rather than later, ...to have a new face and a fresh voice at the Department of Justice. Clearly, Attorney General Sessions doesn’t have the confidence of the president.”

Fire Sessions, which would fire Mueller, but not before the election!:

...ousting Sessions before the election, Graham called that possibility “a nonstarter” that “would create havoc” with...Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh as well as with the midterm elections in November."

Why the about face, Senator? And why signal before the election that Trump could do it after the election? It speaks poorly of Graham that he has made such contradictory statements.
