Paterno-Sandusky U won an ugly looking match in Iowa City 17-12...LSU got the ball back somehow and there are :13 left. It will end 42-28. Tough loss for the “Gators.”
In basketball Louisville leads #19 Wake Forest 62-52 with 2:15 left in the game. Sounds like a Pitt-Duke score.
USF won another one! The “Strong Charlies” beat BYU 27-23 in Tampa.
Minnesota mercifully took their foot off the pedal but still shellacked poor Nebraska 34-7. But hey, congratulations to MN.
Finally, Iowa State boxed the ‘Eers in Couch Burn 38-14. My goodness, wasn’t supposed to be that bad. It’s tough for new coaches, even good ones. (That was not a tip-of-the-tap to Scott Frost. It is true anywhere, any place. There is more going on in Lincoln than a case of the terrible twos.)
