What the hell is it with coaches going for it on fourth down today? Derek Mason went for it like four times, correction, five times in Vandy's game against UNLV. Didn't make it once. Scott Frost has gone for it twice so far. The first time I can understand, NE was at the MN 29 fourth and two. That's a tweener. It's a long for a field goal and too short a field for a punt. You're going to punt it into the endzone and they'll get the ball back about where you are so why not go for it? They didn't make it. That was the first possession of the game, though. Sort of sets the tone, know what I mean? MN drove 71 yards for the TD...Oh my God, it's 34-0... The second time they went for it was on their first possession of the second half. ESPN is SO FUCKING LAME! that I can't figure out what the circumstances were but needless to say they didn't make it and MN is now making like Ohio State on their cornhole asses.
