If we use the Times number and multiply by the days since Aug. 13 at the conservative JHU rate of 880 and add that number to the Times' the number of Americans killed by Trump has "surpassed" 229,922. That would be a number of dead in excess of the entire population of Boise, Idaho, the 99th largest city in the U.S.
