COVID-19 Biden+21

Three weeks or reporting in the books under PoJo. We'll do the numbers and then a comparison with Impeached-II's three weeks.

14-day Changes (NYT)

-36% Cases
-27% Hospitalizations
-22% Deaths.

If mathematics is the language of God those numbers are poetry.

7-day daily averages

104,559 Cases. Down.
82,418 Hospitalizations. Down.
2,590 Deaths. Down. Everything down. Everything down and falling further each iteration.

Dailies for Feb. 10

194,704 Cases. Up.
3,364 Deaths. Up.
Those are just too high. Duh. Comparatively also, though. Yesterday's Cases are +90k over the average daily Feb.4-10? No! That blows. Deaths yesterday +800 over the week's average? No! That is not good; that is terrible. Cases and Deaths have been up the last two days: those are going to impact the averages. I would expect, starting tomorrow with Feb. 11's averages, a substantial upswing in the two-week Death's change. Awkward phrasing: Deaths are down 22% over the last two weeks; they're going to be down less than that starting tomorrow.

Trump vs Biden

195,062 was Trump's daily Cases average in his last week, Jan. 14-20. 104,559 Biden Feb. 4-10, 90k fewer under Biden.
125,297 ave. daily Hospitalizations Trump Jan. 14-20; Biden 82,418, 43k fewer under Biden in the last week compared to Trump's last week.
3,056 ave. daily Deaths Trump Jan. 14-20; Biden 2,590, 400 less under Biden.
The situation is better under Biden, clearly and without question. But it is not a good situation.
