OH! Cases Projected to Drop! Peak Delta Sept. 15!
171,079/day cases forecast for the week ending Sept. 22, MORE than enough thank you very not much but down from 173,845/day forecast for Sept. 15.Deaths take a disastrously forecasted leap to 1,601/day the week ending Sept. 22, up from 1,427 the week before. Unacceptable, but expected: the death interval.
These. Are. Just. FORECASTS. How much do you really rely on the weather forecast? I don't at all, except for hurricanes. Those I tend to pay great attention to. Well, the analogy has been made here before to "Hurricane Delta"! I did not expect this cases forecast. At all. Even if it is wrong, it gives us data-based hope now, when we really need it. Peak Delta in India was reached in seven weeks from about March 21-May 8. Peak Delta in the U.S., according to this forecast, will peak less than ten weeks after first Blow, roughly July 9-Sept. 15. India will have been a pretty good template for us if this holds.
