U.S. Warns Americans of Threat at Kabul Airport: 'Leave Immediately'

The U.S., U.K. and Australia warned of an unspecified threat outside the Kabul airport and told citizens to stay away. The warnings came in the last days of the U.S. evacuation...

The U.S. Embassy warned Americans to stay away from the Kabul airport and told anyone outside the perimeter to “leave immediately,” citing unnamed security threats.

The British and Australian governments issued similar warnings, with Australian officials describing “an ongoing and very high threat of terrorist attack.”

The warnings came as the last of the estimated 1,500 Americans...try to make it to the airport to leave before the U.S. withdrawal on Aug. 31.

2,448 American soldiers were killed in the twenty-year Afghanistan War, 3/day. What if 1,500 are killed in the Biden Evacuation? What if 150 are killed in the last six days, that's 25/day? Utter catastrophe. Complete, abject incompetence.
