The Big XII Is Going to Be Just Fine
The most awkward and disrespected of the Power Five conferences was seemingly on its deathbed after losing Oklahoma and Texas to the SEC. But man did they land on their feets. UCF, Houston, BYU, and Cincinnati solicited offers to move from the American Athletic Conference and will submit formal applications next week. This is a no-brainer. The four to-be's are soo like the remaining eight teams of the Big XII (who played with fucking X until the "LongSooners" said later). In Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, K-State, Okie State, TCU, and WVU, the conference had one remaining AAU member institution. The four newbies make it an even one. All four are or have been great football schools and it's the spheroid that is the unofficial logo of the conference. Cincinnati gives West Virginia the near neighbor it has never had in the conference. Houston and Cincy are also of legend in basketball too, complimenting defending national champion Baylor and blueblood (but in deep NCAA doo-doo) Kansas. Inspired move by the conference, which demonstrates its surprising arithmetical proficiency, and the four come-aboards. Congrats to the Big XII and all schools!
