What a memorable game in Towel-Snappy Valley. PSU prevailed 28-20 but not before Auburn had made two heroic, almost successful, drives to potentially send it into OT. With 3:08 left to play, Auburn 4th and goal at the PSU 2, QB Bo Nix' pass was incomplete. Auburn did not give up. They forced PSU to punt and got the ball back at their thirty-eight with :33 left on the clock. Pass for nine yards, pass for thirteen, pass for 14 and Auburn was on the PSU 26, first down with 0.08 left. An incomplete pass took five seconds, three remaining, before a final incompletion ended the game. Inspired effort by Auburn, stalwart, steely resolve by PSU who are on their way, I predict, to the B1G championship and a bid at last to the playoff to determine the national championship. IMMENSE respect to these two programs, their players and coaches.
