City's match in hand over Arsenal is agin' Tottenham in London Tuesday at 3 pm. God's Righteous Team of Angels in Sky Blue trail Arsenal by a single point after Arsenal beat Manchester's other team today at Old Hosiery. The goal difference, in case a tie-breaker is needed, between the the two teams is a puny three, with City again having an extra match to make up or exceed the difference. Bot Tottenham are 5th in the EPL, four points behind Aston Villa, both of whom have two matches left. Spurs, that is, will have everything to fight for at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. A win Tuesday will lift City two points clear at the top and shave at least a goal off the goal difference with Arsenal with both having played 37 games. Arsenal play home to woeful Everton in their last game. Both frontrunners conclude their seasons May 19 at the same time, 11 a.m., City home to 9th West Ham. Arsenal, obviously, have the easier run-in but Arsenal aren't Manchester City. For Arsenal to win the league, it must win over Everton plus City must at least draw one of their two final matches and not outscore their opponent in the win by more than two goals. The Tottenham game in London is far the more fraught for City. If City win their final two matches, it's title over.
