I spent the afternoon re-watching Manhattan.

I'm not a film connoisseur so I am probably generalizing unfairly. But goddamn: Roman Polanski, Stanley Kubrick, Woody Allen, Peter Bogdanovich, to mention merely en passant Harvey Weinstein, Jerry Seinfeld, and Louis CK in the wider entertainment industry--those are some of the biggest names in our lifetimes!--and they all abused their power and influence to take sexual advantage of or inflict cruel emotional treatment on women. What the fuck is going on?

After watching Manhattan again and reading about Allen's proposition to Mariel Hemingway, I believe Woody Allen raped Dylan Farrow. And I hope I keep this resolution never to watch another one of his films again.
