I'm having doubts about reasonable doubt

To self: Why was that cross so devastating? Why did it create reasonable doubt?

Self answer: Because the call was not to advise Trumpie that the Stormy Daniels matter was settled, you nincompoop, it was to Schiller to whine that Cohen was being harassed by a fucking 14-year old kid.

Self Q: Okay, but the Stormy Daniels situation was real, we have abundant corroboration of that: the photo, Daniels testimony, Pecker's testimony; and she was paid off. It's undisputed that Cohen paid it himself with a home mortgage. Was Trumpie never notified that the Stormy situation was taken care of?

Self A: I took it for granted he was by someone at some point. I'm sure it was, I just can't cite chapter and verse.

Self Q: I as well, since we're both the same person. So if that is fact, then, accepting that Blanche really got Cohen with that Oct. 24 phone call and Cohen's previous testimony on direct that that was the phone call where he advised Trumpie, what does it matter that it was not in that phone call that Trumpie was advised, but in some other phone call or means perhaps from another person? If it's true, in other words, that Trumpie was notified?

Self A: Yes, I get it now. I'm going to go back and read the trial testimony, look at the exhibits, if there is some documentation, or testimony from...Oh! There's the NDA. ...But the keys are 1) before the election and 2) knowledge that she was paid off.

Self Q: Oh, look at this:

In pdfs.nycourts.gov that is labeled People's 168 (Email from Howard to Cohen, Davidson re Daniels Agreement 10.26.2016).pdf. Daniels. And look at the date: Oct. 26. So that takes care of your, my, "before the election" key. That was also just two days after the Oct. 24 phone call. And Lisa Rubin spoke of "the October 24 or October 26 phone call". Look at the time too: 8:23 pm. That is very close to the time of the October 24 phone call, 8:02 pm. I don't know if there was an Oct. 26 phone call or if Rubin misspoke, but she did say either/or. If so, could Cohen have gotten the October 24 and 26 calls mixed up? It would seem, from that exhibit, that Oct. 26 was the more likely date of a confo phone call placed to Trumpie at almost the same time, no?

Self A: Yes! And if so, and that's just the first exhibit I happened onto, there may be others, but that is certainly physical evidence that does not depend on Cohen's testimony that the "before the election" key is met, which partially, but substantially, removes the stinger from Blanche's cross.

Self Q: And which could easily be cleared up on redirect.

Self A: Yes. Keep looking.

Self Q: You do, nincompoop.
