Todd Blanche just argued that the 12 ledger entries at issue in the case were classified as legal services because the Trump Organization's software used a dropdown menu in which one of the limited options provided is: “legal expense.”
Needless to say, the dropdown menu does not have a “repayment for hush-money deal” option.
And that was testified to by a witness other than Cohen. This is all, so far, bad argument by Blanche.
