Pitt Schadenfreude

Heheheheh. Ah-hum. Serious, deep anchor voice:

In sports the University of Pittsburgh hired Kevin Stallings of Vanderbilt to replace Jamie Dixon as head men's basketball coach. Stallings just completed his 17th year at Vanderbilt where he compiled an overall .601 win percentage, .493 in conference play, took the "Commodores" to seven NCAA tournament appearances including this year where they lost by 20 points in the First Four, threatened to kill only one player and blocked former player Sheldon Jeter from transferring from Vanderbilt to only one school, Pittsburgh, causing Jeter to sit out one year before joining the "Panthers," where the two will now be reunited.

The Pitt fan base was supportive of Athletic Director Scott Barnes' hire of which these are some representative twitter posts and we quote:
