Southampton beat Swans in Whales today 1-0. That result was enough to knock the wind out of the "Baggies." Very too bad. West Brom was the ultimate underdog and came back from the dead to at least have a pulse. Such a daunting challenge, such a courageous struggle, but ultimately, not enough. "Hard work guarantees you nothing," Pat Riley has said. "But with out it, you don't stand a chance." West Brom worked hard, inspiringly hard, gave themselves a chance but there were no guarantees and today they got nothing but a Coke and a toast of respect. Godspeed to West Brom next season. Hope they bounce right back up. Godspeed.
