That is two blowout losses on the road in nine days for Miami.

Ira Winderman wrote after the first, the 106-82 loss at Atlanta, "middling talent" plus "middling effort" equals blowouts.

Pat Riley said in an old TV commercial "hard work guarantees you nothing but without it you don't stand a chance."

Riley's old ad nostrum is in a phrase what "Heat Culture" is. Justise Winslow's observations on the Milwaukee blowout, and Spoelstra saw the lack of effort in Atlanta, are therefore ominous for the players on this team because they describe something that is the antithesis of "Heat Culture." Losing is never acceptable to Pat Riley but losing without full effort is an attack on his, and this franchise's, soul. Hell, there's even winning the wrong way with Riley! Riley had just won his first world championship in Miami with a young Dwyane Wade and an old Shaquille O'Neal but when Riley saw an out of shape Shaq before the start of the next season: Gone. Riley traded Shaq.

I don't know how much is enough for Riley, but twice in nine days...I predict Riley is going to get rid of some players on February 7, the trade deadline.
