Covid-19 Biden+22

And now back to gloom. Deaths will just not stay dead. Oh, the gold standard 14-day change is an impressive -15%, Cases have fallen -36% and Hospitalizations are -27%. President Biden has done a good job of continuing trends begun under 46-1 that make a first step to a return of full economic life realistic. (Miami-Dade County, where the undersigned benefits the economy and people's health by getting accused criminals off (it's my constitutional duty.)) will re-open its courts for jury trials March 1. But, you know, death is death, death is different, and for the first time since Feb. 6 the 7-day daily Deaths average rose yesterday (Feb.11) to 2,774 from 2,590. Daily Deaths are ominous absolutely, 3,877 reported Feb 11, and relatively, the fourth straight day of increases. The next iteration of the Times' 14-day Deaths change is going to be in negative single digits, I predict, and the 7-day daily average is going to rise again in the next iteration.

Indeed, there has been a short-term resurgence of COVID. Cases also rose yesterday, a third straight day of increases, but not at the ominous absolute and relative levels of Deaths. Deaths are the one category that is a clean gauge of Biden's efforts. They were at a 7-day daily average high before he took office, rose in each day's iteration his first week and have been on a bumpy slalom since. Until the Feb. 11 daily 7-day average. Graphically, it's a pretty sharp rise, not even I have to strain my eyes to see it. Is there really nothing that President Biden can do to suppress Deaths while still planning for future eradication by vaccine?
