Exhibit A Bad Wins:
#6 Clemson 14 Georgia Tech 8. There's an even chance Clemson will drop in the polls with that horror show. Clemson has got a major problem on offense. They put up three at home in a loss to #5 Georgia, a great-looking team, then laid 56 on poor South Carolina State, #2 on the previous list of bad wins over cupcakes and now today, score two measly TD's agin this "Rambling Wreck." I guarantee you there were boos today in Death Valley.
Is #1 Bama's 31-29 squeaker over #11 FU in Gainesville a bad win? My instant reaction would gesture yes. Al a 14-point fave gestures similarly, but no. C'mon. It's just cuz it's Bama. The standards are so high. You're playing the supposably eleventh-best team amongst the Slave States in an exceedingly hostile environment, you jump in their pfoof 21-3 after one and win and that's bad? Nah-ah.
