FT Dallas 110 Miami 125

We have seen this before now! The torrid start to the Bubble Season, then a fade, then a resurgence to the NBA Finals. We've seen scorching first halves and frigid seconds. Dystopian first halves, 11-30, and incandescent seconds, 30-11. But let's live in the moment and not the future or the past. The "Heat" are now 6-1 (3-1 on the road) and Dallas, a good team with a 4-2 (3-0 home) record lost for the first time this early season in D. Luka Doncic, the prodigal superstar played and had a superstar's game 33 pts, 10/24 (3/9) 12/12 FT; Jalen Brunson had 25, 10/13 (2/2) 3/5 FT,7 rbs and 3 asts. The "Mavs" shot pretty well 44% (33.3%), got outrebounded slightly and didn't play as an elite team, 17 asts to MIA's 25; they had nine TO'S to the "Heat's" 6 and 3 blocks to the "Heat's" 5 and only 1 steal to MIA's 6. Statistically, the "Heat" were the tenacious, ball hawks.

Tyler led the team once again off the bench with 25 points 11/20 (3/6) Jimmy had 23 on 4/11 (0/1) and 15/17 free throws. Why do teams foul Jimmy? I've never understood that. Nobody can defend him when he drives to the basket. Better off to give him the bucket? But in close balloting the Miami star of the game was Mr. Adebayo. He had 22 points, only one less than James, and 13 rebounds and two blocks. A close runner-up, if that, was Mr. Lowry who is putting together impactful games. Kyle had a season high 22 points on blistering 7/10 (6/9) shooting from the field and was 2/2 in FT's. Most importantly for a PG Kyle had 9 asts to only 1 TO and at 6'0" gathered 5 rbs. Duncan again was non-existent after a hopeful breakout. He finished with 6 points on only 2/3 (2/2)

Udonis Haslem played again. Erik Spoelstra again used every available player, 12 total. UD only played 2' but did UD things: took one shot, missed, finished with 0 points in those 2 minutes but got a rebound and, we can assume, raised some hell and talked some trash. Dewayne Dedmon had 10 points in 14', 5 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block. The "Heat" shot a blistering 51.85% (52%). Not many opponents are going to win against a team shooting like that. I am so pleased with Erik keeping his starters intact this whole, early season, and moreso that he is making full use of his bench. The "Heat" are blowing out opponents: by 15 tonight, by 26 in Memphis, 15 over Chazz, 13 at BKLYN, 17 against Orlando, 42 over the World Champions in the first game. Their only loss was at Indiana by 11 but that was tied at the end of regulation. Unqualified praised for the team from the Magic City tonight. *clap* *clap* *clap*.
