The "Cavs" shot nine more free throws than MIA (look at the final margin). They shot 94.45 to MIA's 55.6. The scoring margin from the line was CLEVE +12. PJ had a Karl Malone first half and nothing in the 2nd half. Nothing from the bad Duncan, 2/9 (1/7). We didn't have a PG. K-Low had a shooters points, 22, 8/16 (4/8) but only 5 asts, the same as PJ, AND 2 turnovers. CLEVE out-rebounded us but only by 3. Dedmon was dead weight, 10 points, 5 rebounds. Cancel the Max Strus statue: 0 points, 0/4 (0/4). Tyler was 6/15 (0/3) for 12 points. Whether "Heat" players are playing fixed positions, as has seemed to me to be the case all season, or not, they're playing as square pegs in round holes. It's a new definition of positionless--nobody has a sweet spot position. Tonight we had no PG, no SG, and no C. I know we're without Bam and Jimmy but Bam, Jimmy and this flotsam and jetsam is NOT threatening for a championship. We don't have enough consistently. Duncan has a good game, Kyle with him and and we win against a G-League Chi. Martin-Strus have great games against "Cows" and then disappear, Martin into COVID protocols. We shoot decently as a team, but can't shoot free throws. It is always something. Miami now 16-12 and one half game behind..the Cleveland "Cavaliers". Miami now 5th in the East, ninth in the Association and playing .571 ball. Don't order your Finals tickets too soon.
