Sports catchphrases--"upside," "intangibles"--drive me mad. Isn't sport tangible? 98-95, 21-14, 4 TD passes 0 interceptions., 20 goals, 10 assists/game--very tangible. If you do intangible things that means you don't score, don't assist, don't rush for 150 yards, don't make tackles. 

Now this is a tangible play. It goes in the box score as one assist for PJ Tucker. But it goes beyond that. Watch.

There is no stat for effort, nor for court awareness, extraordinary court awareness. Those are intangible qualities. In this instance, and PJ does similar frequently, a tangible "one" in his assist column does not tell near the truth of that play. PJ's intangibles do.
