Two points off The Level. That's just where the "Heat" are, not near close to Boston. What is 601 Biscayne and the enablers going to tweet tonight, "Just TWO games"? Okay, that's right. It's just two of 82; like Wednesday was just one of 82. The "Heat"--at home!--were 7.5 point favorites to beat Chicago, who were without their two best players. We jumped on them from the tip, were up big, and couldn't hold it, gave it all back, never led in the second half and lost by 8. That's a 15.5 point swing from expectation to reality. Tonight Beans was -2 and we lost by 7. Reality off from expectation by only 5! Progress! The game was close tonight for a little but I don't think--I'll check--that Miami led after the first quarter. I take that back, I checked. We did not lead tonight at all in the second quarter but did lead for 1:06 of the 3rd. In the 36:00 after 1st quarter tonight the "Heat" led for 1:06. In 60:00 of play over "just two games" the "Heat" led the opposition for 1:06! See, that "just one-just two" shit works both ways. And tonight the Male Cows lost in D.C.--still without Levine and the other guy. Are we not even at the "Bullets" level after two games? After "just two games" we're not, we're ten points worse than D.C. The "Heat" are in deep trouble. After two games.
