That article was the inspiration for today's posts. I had no idea that the EU flag took its inspiration from the iconography of the Virgin Mary before reading that article. I truly wish the inspiration for the flag had not been that. It annoys Jews, Muslims, agnostics, atheists, secular humanists and some Christians.
