San Antonio won. 87-79.
Holy mackerel, look at these stats:
S. Curry 38 4-18 1-12 5-5 14.
That's "S" as in Steph Curry and S. Curry played 38 minutos and shot four for eighteen, one outta twelve from 3. What did the Spurs do, put drops in his eyes before the game? Now look at this:

Tim Duncan came off the bench? Well, he did play eight minutes though...Only thirteen fewer minutes than "P. Mills."
What the fuck did Popovich do? Has he figgered out a way to shut down Curry and beat Golden State? Notice the immortal "P. Mills" position, "PG,"Parental Guidance Point Guard. You have to have one of those and San Antonio does have one of those, the truly immortal "T." for Tony Parker." San Antonio had two of those in this game, one playing 29 minutes, the other, Mr. Mills, playing 21. Which adds up to...une momento por favor...50, I knew it was something like that. Now, check this here out: How many minutes in an NBA game? 48! Which means that Greg Popovich played "small ball," so small the ball needed parental guidance.
Popovich went small, playing Parker and Mills on the court at the same time and sat Timmy Duncan for almost all of the game, to counter Steph Curry. Now maybe Duncan was hurt or not feeling well but he wasn't so hurt or feeling so bad that he couldn't play at all...That is really so meager a stat line I wonder if there was something wrong with Duncan; the game was hardly a blow-out, you'd think if that was all by Popovich's design he would have inserted Duncan in an attempt to break the game open. Timmy didn't do much breaking! Took one shot (missed), shot two free throws (made one) to finish with UNE point-o.
Popovich also played two shooting guards, Green, the starter and Manu Ginobili-Only like one of the best players of all-time!-also off the bench. At least Ginobili played 18 minutes...Mind boggling. 18 minutes for Ginobili, 8 for Tim Duncan. Nope: Popovich did this by design. No way Ginobili not starting was due to illness or injury.
The streaks are alive! STREAKS ALIVE! Forty-four in a row now for San Antonio at home, thirty-three in a row losses now for Golden State at the Alamo. And damn Greg Popovich. He solved the
Steph Curry/Golden State problem, at least for one night.
