Tyronn Lue is not the only clueless coach in Cleveland and may not be the only one to be shown the door.
The NFL "Browns" lost their third in a row in Pittsburgh today. They are 2-5-1 on the season which admittedly is better than the "Cavaliers" record on the season under Lue. The "Browns" head coach who has led them into the rarefied Cleveland air of 2-5-1 is Hue Jackson. Hue, introduce yourself.
Hue, stop introducing yourself because you look clueless when you do. That is Google's actual avatar photograph of Hue.
Hue has an all-time head coaching record of 11-47-1 but as coach of the "Browns" Hue is a less robust 3-36-1. A telling indication of the confidence in Hue that exists universally is offered by the wiseacre who doctored Hue's Wikipedia entry, viz:
Keen pageviewers will note that the the 2018 season is far from complete. The wiseacre however is confident that Hue will go oh-for-the-rest-of-the-season and merrily close 2018 2-13-1. Which, as you can see from Hue's undoctored record in Cleveland, would still qualify as "drastic improvement."
Despite the current drastic improvement the "Browns" have still lost three in a row and, Lue-like, are looking rather incompetent doing it. This look of incompetence, and the look of cluelessness in Hue's photo, are looks seen, it now becomes our disagreeable duty to record, by Hue's offensive coordinator, Todd Haley. There are mischievous reports about that there is "tension" between Hue and Todd, they have been "at odds," Hue and Todd have been, this odd tension is allegedly "caused by dysfunction" of the offense, secondarily by the trauma induced by Hue's offer last week to "help" with the offense. Strangely the "respect for each other is not good enough for the team to be successful," Hue's and Todd's ain't.
When you look into Lake Mistake you don't expect to see swans swimming, you expect to see flaming water and turds and algae bloom and all manner of dysfunction that a lake can effect and as I, Benjamin Harris, look into Lake Mistake at this particular juncture in the rent fabric of space-time I fully expect to see Hue swimming after Lue out of town anytime now.
