Wail, the Miami "Heat" season got off to a sputtering start in Borelando tonight. Puff beat Burnie 104-101. The Dragon led Miami with 26 points on an excellent 9/14 and a good 3/7. Josh Richardson had 21 but on a putrid 8/21 and a don't-look 2/10 from three. YoungWhiteside had 12 points and 18 rebounds, but only four offensive as Erik Spoelstra will point out. A. Gordon had a complete game for Puff: 26, 9/18, 4/5, and 16 rebounds. A. plays the position of PF or power forward. Erik the Great is the progenitor of positionless basketball which, I guess, explains why he didn't have a "Heatie" playing the position of PF in his starting lineup. Kelly Olynyk came off the bench to play that position for 15 minutes and what Kelly was doing for those 15 minutes is absent from his box score. What Kelly was not doing was effectively guarding A.
