Hell, this is from a week ago. I sent the link to my family and forgot to post it to my extended family here at Publocc. I think the Beasties are right about everything in that headline: Mueller is telling us with his activity since the mid-terms; he’s telling us he’s got Trump on conspiring with Russia; and he does have Trump on conspiring with Russia: to steal the election, thereby to defraud the American voting public, and to overthrow the former U.S.A. and deliver the remains to Russia.
Since treason requires conspiring with an enemy, it is my understanding that Trump cannot be charged with treason; nor is Robert Mueller “telling us” or signaling us in any way that he is even considering treason (which carries the death penalty, Oh! would I love to see Trump hang.) Which is just mind-boggling to me. If country A, let’s pick an undeniably friendly country, Canada; if Justin Trudeau directed his government agents to conspire with nationals of the U.S. to overthrow and deliver the U.S. to Canada, to make it their southernmost province, do you mean to tell me that those acts in and of themselves, regardless of antecedent relationships between the U.S. and Canada, do not make Canada an enemy for purposes of treason? That you have to have enemy status before, not during, the conquest of the country? So if a U.S. official had conspired with the Japanese to effect the Pearl Harbor attack, nah-ah-ah, they weren’t an enemy before the attack! That makes no sense, fam.
