SPO WENT SPOSTAL!

Oh! Look at this! Spo ripped 'em a new asshole in the middle of the game! From the AP write-up:

Miami led by as many as 21 in the second quarter, settled for a 19-point lead at the half and seemed well on its way to another home win.

Until things changed, that is.

The Wizards needed about three minutes to slice Miami's lead to 10. Another couple minutes later, it was down to three. And that was enough for Heat coach Erik Spoelstra -- who pulled all five of his starters with 6:41 left in the quarter.

Ho-Ho-Ho

For the next 10 minutes and 28 seconds, all five starters stayed on the bench. The backups lost the lead briefly before reclaiming it and going up by as many as 10 on a 3-pointer by Dragic with 9:40 left. Spoelstra put Butler and Bam Adebayo back into the game with 8:13 remaining, hoping Miami could close things out.

They could not.

The Wizards, down by 10, went on a 19-6 run capped by back-to-back layups by Beal that gave his team a 118-115 lead with 1:35 left...

Bees and Gees, that is but one example of why Erik Spoelstra is such a great coach. Jimmy a superstar? Yes, he is, butnottonight! Take a seat on the bench superstar! Bam an all-star lock? Sit your all-star ass down hot-shot. Meyers, Duncan, Special K, sit and eat your Wheaties ya bums. You over-confident prima donnas were a -21. Your replacements, "gentlemen," were a collective +45! You, starters, BA-LOO and when you do that I'm gonna embarrass all yinz at once. This is Erik Spoelstra's team and if tough, humiliating "love" is needed, Spo's got a stiletto, a shiv and some nunchucks in his back pocket ready to slice-and-dice alla yinz! That was great coaching by Spo and HE, the COACH, pulled this victory from the asshole of defeat. To lose this game would have been a humiliation for Miami. Spo would not let these mo-fos do it. When change is inevitable change must be made immediately. No sense postponing it and Erik pulled the trigger on all five at once. Masterful job coaching by Erik Spoelstra tonight, MASTERFUL!
