He wants scenes of conflict in the streets between law enforcement and protesters to be broadcast to every town and hamlet in the country. "It's me or anarchy." He will do it on November 3 as well. Trump is counting on us to be desensitized to it by then. He will send his Praetorian Guard into the cities, "to maintain law and order”; to suppress the vote and end the rule of law, in reality. This is how democracies die.
