Alec Baldwin accidentally shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins,

and wounded film director Joel Souza,

with a "prop gun" on the set of "Rust" in New Mexico. The shooting happened yesterday.

I'd like to see guns manufactured like this,

release of the safety straightens the barrel out so that in accidental shootings the idiot holding the gun gets killed not an innocent person.
