Twenty-two young teenagers, some 13 and 14 years old, have died after a night out to a neighborhood tavern, locally called a "shebeen", in East London, South Africa. The deaths were sudden--seventeen of the dead were found inside the shebeen, five died in hospital--and as yet a total mystery. There were no signs of trauma--no exterior body indications whatsoever--to help explain the deaths. A stampede has been ruled out by officials. Under these circumstances it had to be poisoning--and by some sudden death agent, not alcohol. Alcohol is not going to leave seventeen people, even underage kids, dead on the fucking floor. Toxicology results are pending. Exceedingly strange case and appalling.
