Belarusian strongmen Alexander Lukashenko negotiated this deal directly with Wagner's Yevgeny Prigozhin. Putin approved and called Lukashenko to thank him.

Kremlin spox Dmitry Peskov: –
1) charges dropped against Prigozhin,
2) Prigozhin will leave Russia for Belarus,
3) Wagner fighters who didn't take part in the uprising will sign contracts with the MOD,
4) Wagner fighters who did take part not charged.
No word on potential MOD leadership changes
