I hadn't watched a horse race this millennium until Saturday and I told C.C.C. "Listen to this announcer's call of the race, he's the best and at the end his signature line is 'And DOWN the stretch they come!' It's very dramatic."
And then down the stretch they came and no "And DOWN the stretch they come!"
I thought there was a law: Dave Johnson has to call all important televised horse races. Mr. President, this is a quality-of-life issue. Pass that law.
