The National Basketball Association franchise formerly located in New Jersey is moving to Brooklyn, New York.  In preparation rapper and co-owner Jay-Z designed a new logo for the team. The "Nets" new logo and uniforms are black-and-white minimalist, the first black-and-white design in modern American professional sports. Very urban, the design is harsh urban perfection, the simple "B" a throwback to Negro League simplicity and the cap insignia of the long-departed Brooklyn "Dodgers."
