Ten.

This blog, a modern pastiche of the first newspaper in North America, has now been in continuous existence for ten years.  Relative to the original which lasted one issue, we're doing pretty good. There are 1,484 posts representing who knows how many pages of writing.

There are no readership figures available for the first seven years.  Since July 2009 Google has provided a "Stats" function on the blog's internal dashboard.  There have been a little over 77,000 "pageviews" (that's the size of Somerville, MA) in these not-quite three years.  The highest monthly total was this April just past, at 8,500. Google also began putting advertisements on the blog in July '09. That has resulted in the most infinitesimal augmentation of the treasury.
