Islam's Nidal Malik Hasan is accused of murdering 13 American soldiers (and wounding 32) at Ft. Hood, Texas in November 2009. "Fellow" American soldiers as Hasan was a Major in the United States Army at the time.
Nidal had an...unproductive day in court Tuesday. Nidal fired his three military lawyers and was representing himself. When asked by the judge what legal defense he was raising Nidal advised
"Defense of others."
Okay! That is a legal defense. Very good, Nidal.
When asked by the judge who the, like, others were Nidal advised:
"The leaders of the Islamic emirate of Ahghanistan, the Taliban specifically"
Not too good Nidal! Nidal had put similar improvident sentiments in writing, explaining that he had committed the murders:
“because death or grievous harm was about to be inflicted on the members of the Taliban and Mullah [Mohammed] Omar specifically by the people against whom I used deadly force.”
Nidal Malik Hasan was born in America and raised in Islam, under all the violence that the Koran has to offer. And the cowardice: Muslims, whether American or Egyptian or Saudi or Pakistani, have an elevated fear of death and Hasan was about to be deployed to Afghanistan when he engaged in his cowardly shooting rampage.
