Gary Cohn, chair of the National Economic Counsel and Trump's top econ adviser, has resigned over Trump's mercurial tariffs imposition. Cohn almost left last year after the Charlottesville march of pro-Trump Nazis left one dead. Nazis are one thing, Smoot-Hawley another.
