Porter gets bumped off on page 336--out of a total 357. The book is a waste of time, you read the excerpts when it came out? You got the whole book. Don't need to buy it. Don't buy it. It's a bullshit job, poorly executed, a rehash of just about everything we knew previously (there is at least one point I found interssting that I will publish one final mention of) and virtually no analysis, no sense-making of it all. We learn nothing new.
This is the second goddamned breathlessly anticipated insider's account that I have read, in addition to "A Higher Loyalty," that has been as stimulating as artificial insemination. It may be my last. Jesus Christ.
