Edwards had a better than expected first year at Arizona State. Edsall has been an Edsel at UConn in his second stint. And a jerk. Majors had nothing left when he was re-hired at Pitt. Actually, add Steve Pederson to that list with an * for being an AD not a coach.
Are you telling me that there is no up-and-coming coordinator or head coach at a smaller football school that floats your boat or tars your heels like Mack Brown does? C'mon, man. To moi all of these retreads demonstrate hiring fatigue: "Let's just bring back X rather than do a national search again," a lack due diligence.
